Martin Borisiouk Named ACC Men’s Tennis Player of the Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Pack men's tennis player Martin Borisiouk has been named the ACC Player of the Week as announced by the conference office on Tuesday, March 11.
Junior Martin Borisiouk earned ACC Player of the Week after defeating No. 22 Dylan Dietrich of Virginia by a 7-5, 6-7 (5-7), 7-5 score to clinch the team's win over the fifth-ranked Cavaliers, which led to the program's new all-time best ranking of fifth in the country.
He also went undefeated in doubles action across both matches over the weekend with Virginia and Virginia Tech alongside his partner William Manning.
The Wolfpack veteran has continued to rise in the rankings throughout fall action and the spring dual season, he is currently ranked No. 41 in singles by the ITA and reached a career-high of No. 25 on February 20.
