Singleton Crowned Champion, Six Placers Total at 2025 ACC Championship

DURHAM, N.C. – Highlighted by redshirt sophomore Matty Singleton winning the ACC Championship crown for the first time at 174 pounds, NC State wrestling closed out the conference tournament earning six podium finishes and seven automatic qualifications for the 2025 NCAA Wrestling Championship.
Six members of the Pack punched their ticket to Philadelphia to the NCAA Championship; Vince Robinson (125), Kai Orine (133), Koy Buesgens (149), Ed Scott (157), Derek Fields (165), Matty Singleton (174), and Dylan Fishback (184).
Matty Singleton earned the first ACC Championship of his career at 174 pounds by taking out the No. 1, No. 3, and No. 5 seeds throughout the bracket. This is his second time competing at ACCs. His freshman year he competed at 165 pounds, last year he spent the season redshirting.
