RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State volleyball head coach Megan Wargo-Kearney announced Friday that assistant coach Jeremiah Gonidakis has been promoted to associate head coach, effective immediately.
"The day I got hired one of the first things I did was to ensure that Jeremiah stayed on our staff," Wargo-Kearney said. " For the past three seasons I have witnessed his strong work ethic, passion for making our program elite, love for this university and Raleigh, and desire to become a better coach each and every day. Most of all Jeremiah excels at building relationships with our athletes, staff, alumni, fans, recruits and anyone that walks into Reynolds Coliseum. He has earned this new title and expanded role on our staff."
The 2025 season marks Gonidakis' fourth in Raleigh. The Pack earned an at-large bid to the 2024 NCAA Tournament in his third season on staff. He has aided in the development of Amanda Rice, who capped off her career with an All-American nod. In 2023, he helped the Pack to its first 20 win season since 2017 and the program's first ever top-five win when it defeated Louisville, 3-1.
Prior to joining the Wolfpack, Gonidakis spent two years as a graduate assistant at Nebraska from 2019-2021 and two years as a volunteer assistant coach at Kent State from 2017-2019.
