Wolfpack Places Seven on All-ACC Academic Team

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Seven student-athletes from the NC State volleyball team have been named to the Academic All-ACC team, as released by the Atlantic Coast Conference Thursday afternoon.
The seven selections ties the program record for most in a season and 2024 marks the 14th season the Pack has placed two or more athletes on the team since the league began naming the team in 2005.
Making the team from the Wolfpack are: Ava Brizard, Courtney Bryant, Sydney Daniels, Sophie Groom, Martyna Leoniak, Kate Peterson, and Amanda Rice.
Brizard and Leoniak earned the honor for the third time in their careers, while Bryant, Daniels and Rice earned it for a second time. 2024 is the first time Groom and Peterson have been named to the All-ACC Academic team.
Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career for undergraduate students. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team.
