Putman, Richardson, Mitchell Named October Heart of the Pack Winners
11/6/2025 11:00:00 AM | Baseball, Football, Pack Athletics, Cross Country
The Pack Performance group noted the following about this month's recipients:
Kate has taken on a leadership role on her team, in the community, and in athletics. She has had a positive attitude even during adversity. Her teammates look up to her and speak about her in a good light often.
AJ is nominated to be the Heart of the Pack recipient because he consistently gives great effort during his return to play rehab from a broken foot this season, and my staff and I believe that he's the BEST LEADER on our team. He has not allowed his injury to define him, and he's been working diligently to get back on the field. He demonstrates a positive attitude daily, and he understands the impact he has on this team, even though he's in his first year.
Devin is a recent transfer student who embodies the concept of TEAM. He quickly transitioned to NC State and has been highly successful in the classroom. Moreover, he's gotten involved outside of both school and sport by attending SAEL events. He understands the importance of leveraging his resources for a holistic student-athlete experience and is willing to lead by encouraging these opportunities with his teammates.
