ORLANDO, Fla. – After making it to the 2025 NCAA Singles Championship round of 16, Martin Borisiouk has earned All-American honors for the first time.
Downing Arizona's Filip Gustafsson in straight sets (6-4, 6-3) in the second round of the NCAA Singles Championship in Orlando, Martin Borisiouk has advanced to the round of 16 and earned All-American honors for the first time. He will next face Wake Forest's DK Suresh who finished last season ranked No. 6 in the ITA singles ranking.
He is the 12th men's tennis player for NC State to earn All-American status.
This marks the second consecutive season Borisiouk has qualified for the tournament, however, he was unable to break through the first round last season. The senior was listed as 15th in the country in the ITA rankings back in August.
