No. 17/16 Pack Set to Play at Wake Forest

RALEIGH, N.C. – The No. 17/16 ranked NC State women's basketball team is set to play at Wake Forest on Thursday, Jan. 30. That game will tipoff at 6 p.m. from LJVM Coliseum on ACC Network Extra.
ABOUT NC STATE
- ​NC State is coming off a dominating win over Virginia Tech, 85-57
- That win elevated the Wolfpack to a 12-0 record at home this season, as well as a 17-game home winning streak
- The Pack has won 12 of the last 13 games
- The Pack is tied with Duke for second in the ACC standings with an 8-1 mark
- The Pack's average opponent NET ranking is the fifth best in the country at No. 79, the third highest in the country, as well as the 21st toughest strength of schedule among P4 schools

- Aziaha James leads NC State with 17.4 points per game, which is No. 8 in the ACC, and 43 made 3-pointers. The senior was one of 25 named to the Wooden Midseason Watch List
- Madison Hayes paces the Pack with 6.8 rebounds per game and has had double-doubles in three of the last four contests
- Rivers leads the Pack in steals per game (1.8) and blocks per game (1.1)

SCOUTING WAKE FOREST
- Wake Forest was picked to finish 17th in the ACC Preseason Poll. The Demon Deacons finished 7-25, 2-16 in ACC, last season, and beat Virginia, 58-55, in the first round of the ACC Tournament before falling to Florida State, 70-53
- This season, Wake Forest is 8-12 with a 1-8 ACC mark, coming off a 69-59 win over Boston College
- Elise Williams leads the Demon Deacons with 11.4 points per game and 62 total assists
- Malaya Cowles and Demeara Hinds pace WF with 5.4 rebounds per game. Cowles also has a team's most 41 steals and 15 blocks

- Zamareya Jones and Collier scored seven and six points, respectively, off the bench

UPCOMING
The Pack will play No. 10/10 Duke at home on Monday, Feb. 3 for the 20th annual Play4Kay game. That game will tipoff at 7 p.m. from Reynolds Coliseum on ESPN2.
