ACC Reveals 2025 Wolfpack Football Schedule

RALEIGH, N.C. - NC State Football will play an exciting seven-game home slate in 2025 that includes games on Thursday and Friday nights, according to the schedule released by the ACC this evening. Also for the first time in 35 years, the Wolfpack will face five opponents from the state of North Carolina this season.
The Wolfpack, which has posted a 28-7 record in Carter-Finley Stadium over the past five campaigns, has not played five in-state teams since 1990. East Carolina, Campbell, and UNC will visit Carter-Finley, while the Pack will play on the road at Duke and Wake Forest.Â
The season opens with back-to-back home contests, starting with East Carolina on Thursday, Aug. 28. The Wolfpack will then host Virginia in its first-ever non-conference game vs. an ACC team on Sept. 6. The conference slate will open at Wake Forest on Thursday, Sept. 11, and the following Saturday, the Pack will make the short trip to Duke.Â
Dave Doeren's 13th NC State squad will return to Carter-Finley to face Virginia Tech on Sept. 27 and then will play Campbell for the first time in program history on Oct. 3.
An Oct. 11 road contest at Notre Dame will be followed by the first of two open weeks before a road game at Pitt to close out October.Â
Three of the Wolfpack's four November games will be at home, beginning with Georgia Tech on Nov. 1. Following a second open week, the Pack will travel to Miami, then host Florida State on Friday, Nov. 22 before closing out the regular season with UNC on Saturday, Nov. 29. It marks the first time in five seasons that NC State has had three home games in November.
