Negrete Tabs ACC Specialist of the Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – NC State veteran Chloe Negrete has been named ACC Specialist of the Week after a standout performance at the Sprouts Farmers Market Collegiate Quad on Saturday at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, Okla., the league announced today.

Negrete led the Wolfpack in scoring, earning 9.800+ on all of her events.

She began the night on beam, posting a team-high 9.850 in the second rotation. Negrete then excelled in the floor exercise, tying teammate Syniya Thomas for the top team score with a 9.875. She finished her evening on vault, where she helped lead the Pack with a 9.800, tying with teammates Ashley Knight and Lauren Wright.

Chloe's win marks the second straight week that NC State has claimed ACC Specialist of the Week.
