Wolfpack Kicker Kanoah Vinesett Brings Home ACC Specialist of the Week

RALEIGH, NC – Wolfpack kicker Kanoah Vinesett has been named ACC specialist of the week after totaling nine points in the Pack's 30-20 win over Louisiana Tech on Saturday.
Vinesett, a redshirt sophomore, remains perfect this season, going five for five in field goals and nine for nine in extra points. The Rock Hill S.C. native converted a career-long 52-yard field goal in the fourth quarter to give NC State a 23-20 lead over the Bulldogs, which ended up being the game-winning score.
That 52-yarder ties as the 10th-longest in school history, and his three made PATs also extended NC State's national-leading made extra-point attempts streak to 257.
Vinesett earned the starting role this summer and has played in all three games this season, converting at least one FG in each game.
The Wolfpack has had an ACC Player of the Week in two of the first three weeks to start the 2024 season. Vinesett joins KC Concepcion as the other recipient, as Concepcion took home the ACC Receiver of the Week Award.
Vinesett became the first ACC Specialist of the Week since Christopher Dunn took it home in November 2022.
