RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State men's golf team opens the 2024-25 season on Monday when it hosts the Wolfpack Intercollegiate.
The 13-team, 54-hole event will be held at The Club at 12 Oaks. The competitors will play 36 holes on Monday and the final round on Tuesday. Both days will feature shotgun starts with the golfers teeing off at 9 AM.

NC State's 10-man team features four newcomers in freshmen Tanner Cadieux, Michele Ferrero, Xander Goboy and Hunter Stetson. The Pack returns six golfers from last season's team, including redshirt senior Nick Mathews who led the team with a 71.81 stroke average and finished last year by finishing 15th place at the season-ending NCAA Championship.
Mathews is currently ranked 19th in the PGA Tour University rankings which is a listing of the players in collegiate golf.
