Kelly Named to 2024 NCAA Division I Women’s Defenders to Watch List

KANSAS CITY – NC State women's soccer defender Alivia Kelly was named to the United Soccer Coaches 2024 NCAA Division I Women's Defenders to Watch List on Tuesday afternoon.

Kelly, a graduate student from Pembroke, Massachusetts, joins the Wolfpack program for her final collegiate season after spending the past four years at New Hampshire. The defender started all 60 games during her four-year career with the Wildcats, logging 5,451 career minutes with three goals, five assists and 11 points.

Kelly was named the America East Defender of the Year and to the America East First Team in 2023. She started all 16 games for New Hampshire, playing the full 90 minutes in 15 of those 16 appearances. She finished the season with a goal and two assists.

The Pembroke, Massachusetts native is one of only three ACC defenders honored on the list. Florida State's Camile Ashe and Stanford's Elise Evans round out the group of three defenders honored.
