Wolfpack Introduces New Wave of Enhancements Ahead of 2024 Football Season

Wolfpack Nation can look forward to several new sights and smells for the upcoming football season, as NC State Athletics has made improvements and added amenities that will make game day at Carter-Finley Stadium even better for 2024. This is also an opportunity for us to provide updates and changes so that Wolfpack Nation is well-informed for game day.

As always, many of these updates came as a direct result of feedback from fans, who are able to share concerns and suggestions in postgame fan experience surveys. This feedback proves crucial in making improvements in season and for upcoming seasons.

Text Alerts
In 2024, NC State Athletics will implement a game day Text Alert, which will help provide real-time problem resolution for patrons. If fans have an issue, they can text 984-352-7345 and receive an immediate response. The service will begin five hours before kickoff and run up to an hour after the game ends.Â

Security Measures
In conjunction with NC State's Environmental Health and Public Safety Office, there will be several new measures to enhance security at Carter-Finley in 2024. Each gate will have walk-through weapons detection systems in place and stadium restrooms will only be accessible from the interior of the stadium after gates are open. There will be additional portajohns placed outside the stadium for those who have used the stadium restrooms before gates open.Â
ÂNew Concessions
If you get hungry while watching the Wolfpack play, Aramark will offer a variety of delicious new concession items for 2024. These new items include:Â
- Hot Honey Fried Chicken Sandwiches
- CRUNCH- speciality Nacho Stands to be in North and South EndzoneÂ
- New Grill Carts around the stadium to feature 1/4 lb hot dogs, Cheesesteaks & Speciality Cheeseburgers
- Two new Wolf & Hen Kitchen trailers featuring chicken tenders and fries (available beginning 9/14)
- Sizzle & Melt concept - a fresh hot sandwich station featuring Grilled Cheese, Cuban & Brisket Croissant Sandwiches
- The Original CLUBTAILS Cocktail in a Can
- Craft Cocktail Carts- featuring Wolf-A-Rita & the Pack Punch - both wine based cocktails
- Speciality BBQ Stands in North and South Endzones featuring
- BBQ + Slaw + Mac & Cheese combo boats
- Sausages
- Chicken Lollipops
Liquor in Dail Club/Tuffy's Terrace
Also new this season, liquor will be sold exclusively in the Dail Club and in Tuffy's Terrace for fans who have access to those areas.
ADA Accessibility
In order to eliminate congestion and wait time, as well as make concessions more ADA accessible, Middle Hut stands have been converted to "Grab & Go" concession stands.

Chick-Fil-A
Chick-Fil-A has discontinued operations for NC State football and will not be offered at Carter-Finley in 2024.Â
Stadium Cleaning
The stadium will shine brighter after a massive endeavor to powerwash the entire stadium and seating bowl, which took three months to complete.
Wayfinding
Finding your seat and the nearest restroom will also be easier in 2024, as the first phase of a wayfinding signage project has been implemented inside Carter-Finley. More enhancements in this area will be added in upcoming seasons.

Restrooms
Speaking of restrooms: they have been updated with branded paper towel dispensers that are ADA compliant and will aid in sustainability efforts by limiting paper usage. Behind the scenes, drain lines have been improved in restrooms throughout the facility.
Former Player GraphicsÂ
New graphics celebrating the greatest stars in Wolfpack Football history can be found around Carter-Finley as well. In the north end, there are large panels honoring Wolfpack first and second team All-Americans, first-round draft picks and national award winners. On the west side, new plaques commemorating first-team All-ACC honorees have been added.Â
TowneBank Center Updates
TowneBank Center received many updates during the offseason, with new paint and logos in suites and a variety of images throughout the facility depicting former standout players, campus scenes, other Wolfpack sports and the color and pageantry of football game days.
ÂNew Goalposts
And finally, for the first time since 2006, there are new goalposts on Wayne Day Family Field. These new hydraulic goalposts will be easier to lower when changing over to host the NCHSAA championships.

New Chairbacks
All of the chairbacks have been updated and now feature breathable mesh that are comfortable, durable and weather proof. The new chairbacks are only available with season tickets. Single game rentals will remain the older, padded clip-in style.
