Teagan Thrunk Joins the Pack

RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State softball head coach Lindsay Leftwich announced the addition of transfer Teagan Thrunk to the program Monday afternoon.
Thrunk joins the Pack after spending the first two years of her collegiate career at Virginia Tech and has two years of eligibility remaining.
Leftiwch said, "Teagan Thrunk is an athletic player with a diverse skill set that will add depth to the roster. Her positive attitude, dedication, and competitive spirit will greatly influence and strengthen the Pack. She has a joy that will undoubtedly inspire her teammates and help propel this team to becoming a staple in the postseason. Teagan is a great fit for the Wolfpack.."
In her 65 appearances with the Hokies, she recorded a .258 batting average, 31 hits, 31 runs, 26 RBI, five doubles, and five homers.
The Point Pleasant, N.J. native spent her freshman season at shortstop for the Hokies. During the 2023 campaign, she recorded 22 hits in 87 at bats for a .253 batting average. She scored 24 runs for the Hokies and added a .306 on base percentage. She posted three triples and four homers with 16 RBI and a .425 slugging percentage.
Thrunk was a member of the 2023 ACC All-Academic team.
