Mathews and Oxendine Selected for NCAA Regional Play

NC State's top two golfers were individual selections for the NCAA Championship
RALEIGH, N.C. - NC State men's golfers Nick Mathews and Spencer Oxendine were individual selections for the 2024 NCAA Men's Golf Championship.
The duo will begin play at the Chapel Hill Regional hosted at UNC's Finley Golf Club on Monday, May 13. The regional will run three rounds with one round being played each day.
Oxendine led NC State with a 72.31 stroke average on the season. The Fayetteville, N.C., native had three top-10 performances and one top-five finish.
Mathews finished one shot back of Oxendine with a 72.34 stroke average on the season. Mathews had three top-10 performances and two top-five finishes, including winning the Stitch Intercollegiate back in April at Lonnie Poole Golf Course. Â
