
Pack Finishes Sixth at 2024 ACC Women's Golf Championship

WILMINGTON, N.C. — NC State women's golf finished up three rounds of stroke play action at the 2024 ACC Championship with a team score of 871 (+7) that put the team in a tie for sixth place.
It marks the Wolfpack's best conference championship finish since also placing sixth at the event in 2017. The Pack's cumulative score of 871 is the lowest 54-hole score at ACCs in program history, and the team also set its lowest such 18-hole score in the first round with a mark of 288.
NC State veterans Isabel Amezcua (T5th) and Lauren Olivares Len (T7th) both finished in the individual top 10 with three-round scores under par. Amezcua shot under par in every round (70-71-70) to finish with a score of 211 (-5), and Olivares Leon was just behind her at 212 (-4) after shooting 69-70-73.
Those are the two lowest individual ACC Championship scores in program history.
The Pack's championship week performance was rounded out by Jaclyn Kenzel's 220 (74-72-74), Vania Simont's 228 (75-78-75) and Ellise Rymer's 242 (77-78-87). Both Kenzel and Rymer made their debut at the event.
