NC State Men’s Tennis Pick Up No. 3 Seed In ACC Tournament

RALEIGH, N.C.- NC State men's tennis has had a highly successful conference run wrapping up its regular season agenda this weekend with two wins against rivals No. 23 North Carolina and No. 16 Duke at home in Raleigh.
The Pack successfully swept rival No. 23 North Carolina Friday, Apr. 12 at home in Raleigh 4-0 claiming only the second sweep against the Tar Heels in program history. With a Packed house, the Wolfpack hit an attendance record of 386 over the weekend against North Carolina.
After facing the Duke Blue Devils back in January in the ITA Kickoff weekend, the Pack were prepared to redeem themselves back at home. In an aggressive matchup Sunday, Apr. 14 the Pack came out on top 4-2 breaking the program record with ten wins for most ACC wins within a single season. The Pack head into tournament play with a 10-2 record in conference play.
The Wolfpack have shown to be very versatile both on the road and in home matchups recording a 5-0 record at home in conference play and a 5-2 record on the road.
Picking up the No. 3 seed the Pack concluded its regular season tied up with Wake Forest heading into tournament play. Advancing to the quarter- finals the Pack will take the court Friday, Apr. 19 at 12:30 PM at the Cary Tennis Park. The Pack will take on the winner of Thursday's matchup between No. 6 Florida State and No. 11 Virginia Tech at 12:30 PM.
