RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State women's tennis' Amelia Rajecki has been named to the ITA National Team Indoor Championship All-Tournament Team, as voted on by the participating head coaches.
Rajecki, the third-ranked singles player in the country, went a perfect 3-0 at the No.1 singles spot at the national tournament. She helped guide the Wolfpack to their second semifinal appearance in the tournament with a win over No. 21 Washington and No. 1 North Carolina.
Two of the three matches Rajecki won were against ranked opponents. She opened the tournament with a three-set victory over Erika Matsuda of Washington (6-3, 3-6, 6-1) and followed it up with a win over defending ACC and National Player of the Year #28 Fiona Crawley (6-3, 7-5) and #9 Kari Miller of Michigan (7-5, 6-4)
Rajecki is now 8-1 on the 2024 season and is up to 90 career single wins, putting her in a tie with Amanda Rebol for fourth place all-time in program history.
After a nearly a month-long road trip, the Wolfpack will return to the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center for a four-match week beginning with a doubleheader on Friday, March 1, against Notre Dame at 2 p.m. and East Carolina at 6 p.m.
