Wyman Earns ACC PItcher of the Week After Stellar Weekend

CHARLOTTE – Sophomore right-handed pitcher Rylee Wyman was tabbed ACC Pitcher of the Week, as announced by the conference office Tuesday morning.
Wyman recorded a career-high 11 strikeouts in the win over UConn at The Marucci Classic, marking the most by an NC State pitcher since 2022. She also recorded five-consecutive strikeouts in her complete game against the Huskies.
In six games, she made five appearances in the circle and went 3-0 to finish the weekend with a 0.86 ERA. In 16.1 innings, she gave up just three runs and walked a single batter. She finished the weekend with 19 total strikeouts.
