Seven Men’s Soccer Players Eligible for MLS SuperDraft 2025

RALEIGH – Seven members of the NC State men's soccer program are eligible for participation in the MLS SuperDraft 2025.
The MLS SuperDraft 2025 kicks off on Friday, December 20 at 2 p.m. on Major League Soccer's website and social media platforms. Teams will be able to select from 477 players representing 150 different schools from around the country.
Last week, Hakim Karamoko was invited to the 2024 MLS adidas College Showcase in San Diego to train in front of personnel from each of the teams. Only 44 athletes from across the country werre invited to attend.

Drew Lovelace - LB

Donavan Phillip - F
2024 season recap: Sophomore forward…Started 14 times in 19 appearances…Totalled 1,175 minutes, averaging 62 minutes a game…Tied for second on the team in goals (6) and shots taken (45)…Second on the team with assists (4) and shots on goal (19)…Netted the opening goal in the 2-1 home win over Charlotte in the first round of NCAAs…Scored the second goal in the 2-0 win over fourth-seeded Georgetown in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
Vusumzi Plamana - DM
2024 season recap: Senior midfielder…Appeared in all 20 games with 19 starts…Totalled 1,711 minutes, averaging 86 minutes a game…Finished with five points from two goals and one assist…Scored his first collegiate goal to in the season home opener to secure the 3-2 win over High Point in the final two minutes of the game…Netted the Wolfpack's lone goal in the Sweet Sixteen matchup with Marshall on the road.
