
Karamoko and Phillip Selected in the MLS SuperDraft 2025

RALEIGH – Two NC State men's soccer players were selected in the 2025 MLS SuperDraft Friday afternoon.
Both sophomore forwards for the Pack, Hakim Karamoko and Donavan Phillip, were selected in the 2025 MLS SuperDraft.
Karamoko was selected as the No. 10 overall pick to the D.C. United in the first round, while Phillip went as the No. 62 overall pick to the Colorado Rapids in the third round.

Started 14 times in 19 appearances…Totalled 1,175 minutes, averaging 62 minutes a game…Tied for second on the team in goals (6) and shots taken (45)…Second on the team with assists (4) and shots on goal (19)…Netted the opening goal in the 2-1 home win over Charlotte in the first round of NCAAs…Scored the second goal in the 2-0 win over fourth-seeded Georgetown in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
