RALEIGH – The Wolfpack volleyball program accepted an at-large bid to the 2024 NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Tournament, as announced Sunday evening on ESPN.
The appearance is just the fourth in program history, first under head coach Luka Slabe and first since 2017.
NC State (16-12) will take on 6-seed Florida (21-7) on Friday, Dec. 6 at 5pm EST on ESPN.
The winner of that first-round matchup will play again on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 7:30pm EST, facing either 3-seed Kansas (24-4) or Colgate (19-10).
The Pack is one of nine Atlantic Coast Conference teams to make the tournament. The SEC AND Big Ten were the only other conferences to have nine teams make the field.
In its 2017 appearance, the Wolfpack defeated Oregon State, marking the first tournament win in program history, before falling to then-No. 2 Texas. The Pack holds a 1-3 record in its previous four NCAA Tournament matches.
