Leftwich Releases 2025 Schedule

RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State softball head coach Lindsay Leftwich announced the 2025 campaign Monday morning.
The schedule consists of 57 games across five states. The Pack will face eight teams that made the 2024 NCAA Tournament.
NC State will open the season in Florida at the UCF Tournament Feb. 6-8 at the Central Florida Softball Complex. The Pack will face CSU Bakersfield (Feb. 6), Georgia (Feb. 6), JMU (Feb. 7 and 8), and host Central Florida (Feb. 8).
The Wolfpack will return to Florida the following weekend to participate in the FAU tournament Feb. 14-16 with Villanova, Louisville, Purdue, and host Florida Atlantic.
The Pack will then return to Raleigh for a 13-game homestead that includes hosting the Marucci Classic (Feb. 21-23), Campbell for a double-header on Feb. 26 and The Raleigh Times (Feb. 28-March 2).
NC State will open Atlantic Coast Conference play March 7-9 with a weekend series at Georgia Tech.
Following the series with the Yellow Jackets, the Wolfpack will return to Raleigh to host East Carolina for a single meeting on March 11 before hosting Notre Dame for the second conference series of the season starting on March 14.
An eight-game road stretch will begin in Massachusetts for a series at Boston College (March 21-23), a single meeting at Charlotte (March 26), and a series at Florida State (March 28-30) before wrapping up at UNC Greensboro on April 2.
The Pack will return to Raleigh for a series with Virginia Tech (April 4-6), Clemson (April 11-13), and a double-header against Longwood on April 15.
NC State will head to Chapel Hill for the first time since 2022 to take on the Tar Heels April 17 through 19. The Pack will then play a single midweek game at East Carolina on the 22nd before returning to Dail Softball Stadium to host Duke (April 25-27) for the final conference series of the season.
The regular season will wrap up at Auburn May 2-4 when the Pack faces the Tigers for a three-game series. The Pack will face the Tigers for just the third time in program history and play at Auburn for the first time since 2006.
The 2025 ACC tournament will be hosted by Boston College May 7-10 in Chestnut Hill, Mass.
