Wolfpack Travels to No. 3 Wake Forest for Final Regular Season Match

RALEIGH, N.C. – Wolfpack travels to No. 3 Wake Forest for its final regular-season match on Thursday, Oct. 31. The match will be streamed live on ACCNX.
The Series
NC State (4-9-4, 1-5-3) and Wake Forest (11-3-2, 6-2-1) meet for the 29th time in program history. The Wolfpack holds a 7-18-3 overall record in the series.
Scouting Wake Forest
Wake Forest is currently ranked No. 3 in the nation, according to the United Soccer Coaches poll. The Demon Deacons are led by forward Caiya Hanks, who has tallied a team-high eight goals (including four in their last five matches), seven assists, and 23 points. Midfielder Emily Colton has also been a standout, recording a goal in eight of the last 11 matches, along with four assists and 16 points. She was recently ranked as the No. 2 player in the nation by TopDrawerSoccer.
Strength in the Pack
The Wolfpack is on its longest unbeaten run of the season, with a 1-0 victory over Clemson and draws against Syracuse and Virginia Tech.
Sophomore forward Jade Bordeleau leads the Pack with four goals, two assists, and 29 shots. She has appeared in 17 matches this season, starting nine.
Senior goalkeeper Olivia Pratapas has started every match this season, recording 71 saves with a .780 save percentage.
Junior defender Taylor Chism has tallied three goals, 17 shots, and one assist, starting all 17 games.
Sophomore midfielder Rosalie Olou scored her first collegiate goal in NC State's 1-0 win over Clemson and has one goal and one assist on the seas
