NC State Ranked No.21 in ITA Preseason Poll

Raleigh N.C.- N.C. State men's tennis is looking to build off of a strong 2023 season with a top-25 ranking. ITA released team rankings Wednesday morning with N.C. State sitting at #21.
NC State shares the top-25 list alongside 6 fellow ACC schools including no.1 ranked Virginia.
At the conclusion of the fall 2023 competition, ITA released both singles and doubles division I preseason rankings for the upcoming 2024 season. Making an appearance on the list were members of the Pack including Joe Wayand, Robin Catry, and Martin Borisiouk.
Junior All-American Joe Wayand ranked no.52 in the ITA singles rankings becoming a career high for Wayand. Wayand who went 6-3 in the fall additionally stands in the top 10 in the ACC in ITA singles rankings heading into the season.
Senior Robin Catry additionally sits at no.120 in the ITA Singles rankings representing the Pack. Catry wrapped up the fall season with a 5-3 singles record.
Doubles pair Joe Wayand, and sophomore Martin Borisiouk currently sit at no.13 in the ITA doubles rankings. The pair went undefeated with a 9-0 record in the fall.
The Pack are set to begin their season January 15, hosting Northwestern 10 a.m. at J.W Isenhour Tennis Center.
