Wolfpack Travels to Tennessee for Diving Invitational

Raleigh, N.C.- NC State Swim and Dive kick off 2024 with the dive team traveling to Knoxville, Tennessee, for the Tennessee Diving Invitational this week, Jan. 3-5, at Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center.

Teams competing along with the Wolfpack include Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU, South Carolina, SMU, Tennessee, and Virginia Tech. The format for the event will include prelims and finals for both springboard events, with the top 12 scorers from prelims advancing to finals. Platform will be finals only. The events will run simultaneously, with finals immediately following prelims. Below is the schedule of events.Â
The competition is free to the public, and fans unable to attend can watch on SEC Network+Â all three days. Live stats will be available on DiveMeets.

The Wolfpack will send a total of nine divers to the Invitational. On the men's side, Bayne Bennett and Renato Calderaro will make the trip, with the women sending Celia Bidwell, Bayleigh Cranford, Mary O'Neill, Elisabeth Rockefeller, Helene Synnott, Clara Tate and Ashton Zuburg.

Earlier this season, Cranford, at the Winter National Championships, took home gold in the mixed 10m synchro and was selected to the USA Worlds Team in the event. She also set a school and pool record back in November in the 10m platform with a 358.95. Bennett set a school record in the 3m springboard with a score of 408.Â
