Jameese Joseph Named to 2023 Women’s Soccer Preseason All-ACC Team

GREENSBORO, N.C. – NC State women's soccer forward Jameese Joseph was named to the 2023 Women's Soccer Preseason All-ACC Team, as announced by the league office on Thursday afternoon.
Joseph, an All-ACC honoree in back-to-back seasons, scored a team-high eight goals and recorded two assists for a team-best 18 points in 2022. Joseph notched four game-winning goals and set new career-highs with 63 shots and 23 shots on goal this past season.
In nonconference play, Joseph netted the game-winning goal in back-to-back contests against VCU and Campbell. She also was tabbed TopDrawerSoccer's National Player of the Week after logging a goal and an assist between NC State's pair of opening weekend victories over Rhode Island and VCU.
Joseph has netted a combined 17 goals and four assists over her past two seasons at NC State, sitting just 11 goals shy of breaking into the top 10 in goals scored in program history. She has logged 21 goals, nine assists and 51 points in 70 career matches.
UP NEXT
NC State will host VCU for a home exhibition match on Saturday. Saturday's kickoff against the Rams is set for 1 p.m. at Dail Soccer Stadium. The Wolfpack opens its regular season schedule at home against Utah on Aug. 17.
