Goodwin Earns All-ACC Honors

GREENSBORO – Following the conclusion of the regular season, sophomore third baseman Hannah Goodwin earned a spot on the All-Atlantic Coast Conference team, as announced by the conference office Wednesday.
The All-ACC Softball team is voted on by the league's 13 head coaches with 15-players making up a first-team with one slot per position. An additional 30 are named to the second and third teams, regardless of position. The league also announced a 10-member All-Freshman team. This year's teams included 45 student-athletes from 12 schools. NC State is one of nine schools with three or more.
Prior to her time at NC State, she spent three seasons at Clemson where she was a 2021 Preseason All-ACC selection and a 2021 ACC Academic Honor Roll recipient.
Goodwin, who earned Third Team honors, recorded 16 multi-hit games this season, including a season high three hits at Pitt. She also recorded a seven game hitting streak and reached base in 12 consecutive games.
She led the team in batting average (.359), slugging percentage (.612), on base percentage (.429), hits (51), and total bases (87). She also added 24 RBI's and 11 home runs on the season.
The sophomore ranks in the program record book for sophomore records in batting average and slugging percentage.
