Wolfpack Qualifies 19 Men for NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, IND. – The NCAA Division I Men's Swimming and Diving Committee announced its selection of swimmers who will compete at the 2023 NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championships. The NC State Wolfpack sit at the very top of the entry numbers, having 18 swimmers and one diver qualify for the national meet.
NC State's qualification of 18 swimmers and one diver ties the most qualifiers in program history after qualifying the same number of men for last season's meet. The number also marks the most qualifiers of any NCAA program this season. All five of the Wolfpack's relays additionally qualified to race at the NCAA Championships.Â
In addition to the qualified selection of swimmers being released, freshman diver Renato Calderaro secured his first NCAA Championships qualification over the weekend with his sixth-place finish on the 1-meter springboard at the NCAA Zone B Championships.

- Noah Bowers - 200 butterfly
- Arsenio Bustos - 200 IM, 100 butterfly, 200 breaststroke
- Renato Calderaro - 1-meter
- Zachary Cram - 200 backstroke
- David Curtiss - 50 freestyle
- Ross Dant - 500 freestyle, 1650 freestyle
- Will Gallant - 500 freestyle, 1650 freestyle
- Aiden Hayes - 50 freestyle, 100 butterfly, 200 butterfly
- Noah Henderson - 50 freestyle, 100 butterfly
- Mason Hunter - 100 breaststroke
- Giovanni Izzo - 200 IM, 100 backstroke
- Nyls Korstanje - 50 freestyle, 100 butterfly
- Owen Lloyd - 400 IM, 1650 freestyle
- Luke Miller - 200 freestyle, 200 butterfly
- James Plage - 500 freestyle, 1650 freestyle
- Bartosz Piszczorowicz - 200 freestyle, 100 freestyle
- Drew Salls - 50 freestyle
- Kacper Stokowski - 100 butterfly, 100 backstroke, 200 backstroke
- Hunter Tapp - 200 backstroke
NC State will turn its attention to the 2023 NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championships, which will be held March 22-25 at the Jean K Freeman Aquatic Center in Minneapolis, Minn.
