Accelerate Sports Ventures Chosen as NIL Consultants

NC State has selected Accelerate Sports Ventures, as the school's official Name, Image and Likeness consultancy.
"We are excited to partner with Doug Fillis and Accelerate Sports Ventures," said NC State Director of Athletics Boo Corrigan. "Doug's background makes him uniquely qualified to understand and navigate the NIL landscape. We have made significant strides in the short time that we have been working together and know Accelerate will help ensure NC State Athletics is well positioned nationally."Â
NC State student-athletes, coaches and staff will have access to Accelerate's white-glove support on all things NIL. In addition, Accelerate will create and implement NIL strategies and best practices for the department and provide regular on-campus visits to support the Wolfpack in their day-to-day NIL efforts.Â
"I can't thank Doug and Accelerate Sports Ventures enough for their support and guidance in helping us navigate NIL" said head football coach Dave Doeren. "At NC State, we pride ourselves on doing things the right way and Doug has been an integral resource for us to ensure that is the case."
NC State is the latest program to retain Accelerate as its NIL consultancy arm. Accelerate works with colleges such as Boston College and Penn State, 100+ junior colleges, 100+ high schools, and brands to support their NIL initiatives.Â
