NATIONAL SUCCESS UNDER HOLLOWAY:
Since Braden Holloway took over as head coach at the start of the 2011-12 season, the Wolfpack has enjoyed unparalleled success in the pool. During the 2010-11 campaign, NC State did not score at the NCAA Championships. Since then, NC State's men have finished a program-best No. 4 at the national meet in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2022.
TOP MARKS:
NC State enters the meet with 15Â individual swims seeded in the top 16 on the official psych sheet and all five relays seeded in the top eight in the nation.
NC State's deepest event with the highest seeds is the 100 butterfly, where four Pack men hold top-16 seeds. Aiden Hayes leads the way with a No. 6 seed, with Kacper Stokowski as No. 8, Nyls Korstanje in 9th, and Arsenio Bustos in 11th.
Additional top-eight seeds include No. 2 seeds Kacper Stokowski (100 backstroke) and Will Gallant (1650 freestyle), Arsenio Bustos as the No. 3 seed in the 200 individual medley, Luke Miller as the seventh seed in the 200 freestyle, and Aiden Hayes entering the 200 butterfly as the fifth seed.
