Gymnastics Selected for Program's 32nd NCAA Tournament

NC State will face Ball State in first-round play-in game
RALEIGH – The NC State gymnastics team qualified for the NCAA Tournament for the 32nd time in program history on Monday, Mar. 20, as the Pack will compete in the first round against Ball State in the Norman, Okla. Regional on Wednesday, Mar. 29.
The announcement marked the fifth-consecutive tournament berth for the Wolfpack and is the second time in program history that NC State has been sent to a regional hosted by Oklahoma.
The winner of the Wolfpack's Mar. 29, dual meet against Ball State will face Arkansas, Ohio State, and host Oklahoma, in a quad meet on Mar. 30, while the other portion of the regional includes Alabama, Illinois, Iowa, and Kentucky. The regional final will be held on Saturday, Apr. 1.
2023 EAGL Gymnast of the Year Emily Shepard was selected as an individual all-around competitor, while Chloe Negrete will serve as an individual event specialist on vault, beam, and floor.
