Pack Adds JuCo All-American Safety

NC State Football added a talented, experienced safety on signing day, as Bishop Fitzgerald is now a member of the PACK.

The Dale City, Va., native was a JUCO All-American in 2022, pulling down six interceptions at Coffeyville Community College in Kansas.

AT COFFEYVILLE:

Transfer from Coffeyville Community College in Kansas, where he played 17 games over the past two seasons.
Intercepted six passes in 2022, returning them for 111 total yards. One was a pick six.
Had two fumble recoveries, he returned them for another 50 yards. Both were scoop and scores.
Tallied 50 tackles last season, including 4.5 for loss.
A first-team NJCAA D1 All-American for 2022.
The Jayhawk Conference Defensive Player of the Year.
A team captain at Coffeyville.
Ranked the top JUCO safety in the country by On3.
In 2021, Fitzgerald made his defensive debut, seeing action in six games.

IN HIGH SCHOOL:

Played quarterback at Garfield High School.
Career Stats: Tallied 1,700 all-purpose yards and scored 27 total touchdowns.
Honors: Named All-Cardinal District Offensive Player of the Year as a senior; An all-state performer as a junior and senior. Also a first-team all-district choice at defensive back.
