Softball Inks Four on National Signing Day

RALEIGH – NC State softball head coach Lindsay Leftwich announced the signing of four student-athletes on National Signing Day.
Joining the Pack in 2024 will be Haley Carder, Taryn Massey, Kamryn Munson, and Lisey St. Jean.
Leftwich said, “I am so excited to welcome this first class as a staff to NC State. We are hitting the ground running here and this class is no different. We are so grateful they chose us and are bought into the kind of program we’re trying to build here. We have signees from all over the country – Texas, New Jersey, Georgia, and North Carolina – who see what I do about this place and are the newest editions to the Pack. I can’t wait to see them on campus.”
Haley Carder | IF | San Antonio, Texas

The San Antonio native attended O’Connor High School and played four years on varsity. She was a Texas 6A State Champion, All-State Tournament team as a third baseman, and two-time First Team All-District.
While playing club for the Texas Blaze 18 United, her team was the 16u Colorado Sparkler Power Pool Champion.
In addition to her athletic honors, she is also a member of National Honor Society and a three-time First-Team All-District Academic Team member.

Taryn Massey | IF | Roxboro, N.C.

Massey will move an hour south to join the Pack in Raleigh. During her time at Person High School, she earned All-Conference and All-District accolades.
While playing club ball for the Lady Lighting Gold, her team was the Top 25 Champions of Scenic City.
Outside of softball, she is a member of National Honor Society, Junior ROTC, and yearbook.

Kamryn Muson | UTL | Lawrenceville, Georgia

Muson played four-years at Collins Hill High School in Suwanee, Ga. During her career with the Eagles, she was tabbed First Team All-Region, All-State, and All-County. She broke the single season and the school's career home run record, in addition to breaking the single game RBI record.
Munson participated in the Georgia Junior All-Star Team and was tabbed team MVP. While playing club for Top Gun National, her team finished third at Triple Crown and second at Scenic City.
Outside of softball, Munson is a member of the National Honor Society.

Lisey St. Jean | OF | Marlton, NJ

A native of Marlton, NJ, St. Jean will join the Pack as an outfielder. She attended Paul VI High School, where she played varsity all four years. She collected several accolades including: First Team All-State, First Team All-Non-Public, three-time First Team All-Olympic Conference, three-time All-South New Jersey Selection, 2023 Olympic Conference Player of the Year, First Team Courier Post All-South Jersey. She was tabbed a First Team High School All-American by Extra Inning Softball.
While playing club ball for Georgia Impact 18U Premier - Sampson, she was a PGF All-American Finalist twice and recorded 200+ hits in her first three years playing for the 18U squad. She was a member of the 2023 Extra Inning 18U All-Summer Team and was tabbed number 21 in the 2024 class.
Outside of softball, she is a member of National Honor Society and French Honor Society.
