Gibson Named ACC Co-Offensive Lineman of the Week

RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State center Grant Gibson has been named the ACC Co-Offensive Lineman of the Week after his performance in the Pack's dominant 41-10 victory over UConn.
Gibson, a graduate student from Charlotte, has started his past 40 games in an NC State uniform dating back to the 2019 season. He has played 50 or more snaps in all four of the Pack's wins this season, recording 61 snaps and three pancake blocks in Saturday's home triumph.
The Wolfpack churned out 169 rushing yards and averaged 5.1 yards per carry against the Huskies. Gibson's efforts on the offensive line also helped NC State log 29 first downs and 492 total yards of offense.
Gibson shared this week's Offensive Lineman of the Week honor with Clemson's Jordan McFadden.

The 10th-ranked Pack will open ACC play Saturday at No. 5 Clemson. Kickoff for Saturday's top-10 matchup is set for 7:30 p.m. and will be broadcasted live on ABC.
