Sam Bush Named ACC Women’s Co-Performer of the Week

GREENSBORO, N.C. - NC State track & field senior Sam Bush has been named ACC Women's Co-Performer of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.
Bush recorded her first career collegiate win with a blistering time of 16:14.5 at the Adidas XC Challenge last Friday, pulling away from teammate Marlee Starliper in the final 1K to win by six seconds and lead the top-ranked Wolfpack to a team victory. Bush led a 13-team field of 106 runners as she shaved 27 seconds off her time from last season on the same Cary, North Carolina, course and placed more than 15 seconds ahead of last year's overall winning time.
