2022 Primetime with the Pack Set for Thursday, Oct. 13

The NC State men's and women's basketball teams are set to host their annual Primetime with the Pack preseason event on Thursday, Oct. 13 at 8 p.m. This year's event will have a new twist as it will be hosted in conjunction with the opening night of the North Carolina State Fair and will take place on the PNC Arena Plaza across from Carter-Finley Stadium.
Admission to the event is FREE for students and fans. Fans in attendance will get an exclusive introduction to the 2022-23 squads, hear from the head coaches, watch their favorite players compete in skills challenges and games and cap off the night with fireworks from the North Carolina State Fair.
A special addition for this year, NC State students will have an opportunity to attend the State Fair at a discounted rate by showing their student ID at any gate. The fair opens at 12 p.m. on Oct. 13, and students are encouraged to enjoy the afternoon there before heading to Primetime afterwards.
Students who will be coming from campus will be able to take the Wolfline, which will be changing routes during the State Fair starting on Oct. 13. Students will be able to be dropped off near Carter-Finley and then take a short walk to PNC Arena Plaza for Primetime!Â
Fans are encouraged to come early to beat fair traffic and enter the parking lots through Gate E off of Edwards Mill Road. All parking is free around Carter-Finley and available to Primetime attendees.Â
