
Pack Opens Foreign Tour with Win over Bahamas Select

Terquavion Smith leads all scorers with 26 points
PARADISE ISLAND, BAHAMAS – The NC State men's basketball team defeated Bahamas Select, 92-81, Sunday afternoon inside the Imperial Ballroom in the Atlantis Resort.
NC State doubled up Bahamas in the first quarter, 28-14, and never had its lead cut to single digits the rest of the game. The Pack extended the lead to 16 at halftime and led by as many as 24 points late in the third quarter.
NC State emptied its bench in the fourth quarter as all 13 guys on the roster saw action in the final 10 minutes.
Terquavion Smith led NC State with 26 points. The Greenville, N.C., native added five steals, three assists and one block in 27 minutes of action.
Casey Morsell was next for the Pack with 18 points and added five rebounds. Morsell was the only Pack player to play over 30 minutes.
Jarkel Joiner finished with 14 points and added three assists.
Jack Clark posted a double-double with 12 points and a game-high 13 rebounds.
Five of Clark's 13 rebounds came on the offensive end. The Pack collected 22 offensive rebounds in the game and outrebounded Bahamas by 19.
Breon Pass stuffed the stat sheet, finishing with seven points, five rebounds and five assists while committing zero turnovers.
The Pack is back in action Tuesday when it takes on the Puerto Rico National Team at 3 p.m. Puerto Rico played after NC State's game this afternoon and fell to Ohio State, 75-68.
