Pack Football Ranked No. 13 in Preseason AP Poll

RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State football has been ranked No. 13 in the preseason Associated Press Poll.

This marks the fifth time in school history NC State football was ranked in the preseason AP Poll. The last time the Pack was ranked to start the season was in 2003 at No. 16. NC State also previously appeared in the preseason rankings in 1993 (No. 25), 1975 (No. 13) and 1974 (No. 18).

The Pack was also ranked Noi. 13 in the preseason AFCA Coaches Poll to kick off the 2022 season.

NC State begins the campaign with a trip to East Carolina on Sept. 3 at noon. The Pack will then host three straight home contests, beginning with Charleston Southern on Sept. 10 at 12:30 p.m., followed by Texas Tech (7 p.m.) and UConn (TBA) on consecutive Saturdays.
