NC State Women's Basketball Part of Field for 2022 Cancun Challenge

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Wolfpack women's basketball will be one of six teams in the field for the 2022 Cancun Challenge, which will be held during the Thanksgiving holiday at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya in Cancun, Mexico.
Games for the tournament will take place Nov. 24-26 at the all-inclusive resort, with teams and fans in walking distance of the converted ballroom that hosts the event. NC State will take on Vanderbilt at 4 p.m. EST on Nov. 24 and West Virginia at the same time on Nov. 25.
The Pack is one of six teams that will power the Riviera Division alongside West Virginia, Vanderbilt, Tulane, Northern Iowa and Central Michigan. Each of those squads will play two games apiece in Cancun. There are also four teams in the Mayan Division, and those squads will play a three-game round-robin.
NC State's full non-conference schedule for the 2022-23 campaign will be released in the coming weeks.
