Martyna Leoniak Wraps Up Action at U21 European Championships

ITALY – NC State women's volleyball sophomore Martyna Leoniak competed as part of Poland's squad at the 2022 U21 European Volleyball Championships last week, helping lead her team to the semifinals and an appearance in Sunday's bronze medal match.
Leoniak and Team Poland went a perfect 3-0 in initial pool play to earn their spot as one of the final four teams standing in the semis. Over the course of the championship event, Poland tallied wins against the Czech Republic (3-0), Hungary (3-0) and Ukraine (3-1).
Leoniak contributed a total of eight winning spikes, six aces, two kill blocks and 16 points to Poland's efforts at the European Championships.
