Wolfpack Swimming & Diving Programs Named CSCAA Scholar All-America Teams

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The NC State men's and women's swimming and diving squads were both honored as Scholar All-America Teams for the Spring 2022 semester, as announced by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA).
The recognition comes after a tremendous effort both in the pool and in the classroom during this most recent academic year. The Wolfpack posted the highest national finishes by any combined teams in the nation, with the men matching a program-best fourth-place finish and the women taking fifth at the 2022 NCAA Championships.
The Wolfpack women recorded a 3.61 GPA while earning their second top-five finish in a row. On the men's side, the Pack turned in a 3.28 GPA while reclaiming the ACC Championship title as a team.
"Coach Holloway continues to lead NC State to great achievements," said CSCAA Executive Director Greg Earhart. "He was honored as one of the CSCAA's 100 Greatest Coaches, and we are excited to see this program thrive under his watch."
In addition to the team recognition, 24 members of the Wolfpack teams were named Individual Scholar All-Americans.

The Wolfpack has seen one or both of its squads honored as CSCAA Scholar All-America Teams during each of Holloway's 11 completed seasons at the helm of the program. The award is presented to programs across the nation that achieved a team GPA of 3.0 or higher in the most recent academic semester.
Individuals who were selected as First Team Scholar All-Americans earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher and participated in their national championship. Second Team selections also earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher and achieved a "B" standard or participated at a diving zone qualification meet.
