Program-Record Five NC State Women’s Tennis Athletes Named to 2022 All-ACC Academic Team

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Five Wolfpack women's tennis players were honored as members of the 2022 All-ACC Academic Team, as announced by the league office on Thursday afternoon. The team's five honorees marked the most in a single season in program history, beating out last season's four.
Sophie Abrams, Jaeda Daniel, Nell Miller, Priska Nugroho and Abigail Rencheli were recognized for their successes in the classroom and on the court.
Daniel's honors were the second of her Wolfpack career, and the other four women were first-time honorees at NC State. Prior to 2021, NC State women's tennis had never seen more than two players garner All-ACC Academic Team status in the same season.
Rencheli, Miller and Daniel were each named 2022 ITA All-Americans, with Daniel being one of five players in the nation to garner honors in both singles and doubles. All three of this women were also All-ACC honorees, as was Nugroho who was additionally the conference's Freshman of the Year.

To earn selection to the All-ACC Academic Team, student-athletes must have a 3.0 grade point average (GPA) for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative GPA during her academic career. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered.
