#21 Men’s Tennis Selected to Host NCAA Tournament Regional

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The 21st-ranked NC State men's tennis team (18-9, 6-6 ACC) will host a regional of the 2022 NCAA Men's Tennis Tournament, as announced by the NCAA on Monday.
The Pack's first-round matchup will see the squad take on Liberty Friday, May 6 at 5:00 p.m. A first-round win will see NC State take on either UNCW or 16-seed Middle Tennessee in the second round Saturday, May 7.
With the bid, NC State has held a spot in the NCAA Tournament for the fourth-straight season in which the tournament has occurred, and the Pack has made the tournament in each season under head coach Kyle Spencer. The hosting honors additionally mark the first time that the Wolfpack has hosted in Spencer's tenure.
Sixteen teams will advance out of their regional to the round of 16, hosted at campus sites, beginning Friday, May 13. After the round of 16, all rounds will be held at the Khan Outdoor Tennis Complex in Champaign, Ill. May 19-22.
Singles and doubles championship participants will be announced Tuesday, May 3, and action will take palce May 23-28.
