Rifle Trio Heads to 2022 Junior Olympics

RALEIGH – NC State rifle trio of Ben Salas, Roman Karadsheh and Katie Tedeschi will compete at the 2022 National Rifle Junior Olympic Championships, hosted by USA Shooting from May 11-15 in Hillsdale, Michigan.
The trio will shoot two smallbore and two air rifle relays from Thursday through Saturday with the Men's and Women's Finals slated for Sunday. Wednesday serves as a training day for all competitors.
Salas will shoot his first air rifle relay on Thursday at 4 p.m. with his second relay scheduled for Saturday at noon. For smallbore, his first relay is on Thursday at 8 a.m. while his second is set for Friday at 1 p.m.
Karadsheh begins action at the Junior Olympics on Thursday at 10 am for his first air rifle relay. Later in the day, he will shoot his first smallbore relay at 3:30 p.m. On Friday, Karadsheh fires his second air rifle relay at 2 p.m. before his final smallbore relay on Saturday at 10:30 a.m.
Tedeschi will shoot her first air rifle relay on Thursday at 2 p.m. before shooting smallbore on Friday at 10 a.m. She will shoot her second relays in both disciplines on Saturday beginning with air rifle at 10 a.m. followed by smallbore at 3:30 p.m.
Sunday's finals will begin at 9 a.m., with the men's smallbore, which will be followed up by the women's smallbore at 10:30 a.m. The men's air rifle final is set for 12 p.m., before the event concludes with the women's air rifle final at 1:30 p.m.
