Rocens and Van Sambeek Garner ACC Doubles Team of the Week Honors

GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Wolfpack men's tennis duo of Martins Rocens and Fons Van Sambeek have been named the ACC Doubles Team of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.
The recognition marks the second time this season that the pair has garnered the accolades.

No. 58 Rocens and Van Sambeek played together in both of NC State's matchups over the weekend, bringing home a top-10 doubles win against North Carolina. In what was a tight-contested match across doubles and singles, the pair was able to help clinch the team doubles point.
The pair jumped out to an early lead over eighth-ranked Brian Cernoch and Mac Kiger and was able to cruise to a 6-2 victory. The win was the first of the day for NC State and marked the highest-ranked win of the season for Rocens and Van Sambeek.
