LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Logan Morris of NC State softball was recognized by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association as a Top Performer for her outstanding weekend at the NC State Invitational.
Morris led the team in batting average (.692), hits (9), runs (6), home runs (3) and RBI (8) in the Wolfpack's 4-1 weekend. Additionally, she recorded a .750 on-base percentage while tallying a 1.462 slugging percentage.
Her better single-game performance came in the 11-0 win over Central Connecticut State on Feb. 25, where she went a perfect 3-for-3 with a career-high tying six RBI alongside two runs scored, a double and a home run.
