Starova Makes Appearance For Czech Republic In SheBelieves Cup

FRISCO, Texas – NC State women's soccer's Toni Starova, making her first appearance for Czech Republic since returning from injury, played 28 minutes in a 0-0 draw vs. New Zealand in the final round of the SheBelieves Cup in Frisco, Texas, on Wednesday.
The reigning World Cup champion United States, who Czech Republic tied 0-0 on February 17 in the opening match, won the tournament. Starova, with one year of eligibility remaining with the Wolfpack, entered in the 65th minute and had a goal disallowed for offside in the 73rd minute.
