A WIN ON MONDAY WOULD
• Be the 999th win in program history (998-478)
• Be Moore's 781st career win (780-238)
• Be Moore's 223rd win at NC State (222-69)
• Extend NC State's home winning streak to 12 games, a streak that started on Dec. 19, 2021 against Virginia
• Mark the Pack's 47th consecutive home win over an unranked non-conference opponent
MILESTONE WATCH
• Monday's game marks the 100th home contest for Wolfpack women's basketball since the renovation of Reynolds Coliseum was completed ahead of the 2016-17 campaign.
• NC State is two victories away from reaching 1,000 total wins in program history. The Wolfpack is looking to become the 19th NCAA Division I program and the third ACC program (Notre Dame, UNC) to hit that mark.
• This season marks the 25 Year Anniversary of the team's first and only NCAA Final Four appearance in team history. On March 21, 1998, NC State defeated UConn in the regional final to advance to the national semifinal.
• Senior wing Jakia Brown-Turner is 19 points away from becoming the 36th member of the program's 1,000 career point club.
NOTING THE WOLFPACK
• NC State opens the season ranked 10th in the Associated Press Top 25 and eighth in the WBCA Coaches Poll. It marks the third season in a row that NC State opens its year in the national top 10.
• The Wolfpack was picked to finish third in the ACC behind Louisville and Virginia Tech. NC State has been selected to finish in the top three in the league four seasons in a row and has successfully finished in the top four in the league (tiebreakers included) every year since 2016-17.
• NC State's 2022-23 roster is made up of 11 players - eight returners from last season and three transfers (two graduates, one sophomore).
• The Wolfpack opens its 2022-23 campaign with four home games in the first nine days before hitting the road for five games in a row from Nov. 20 through Dec. 5.
SERIES HISTORY
Monday's game will be the first-ever meeting between NC State and Quinnipiac.
STRONG STARTING SLATE
In advance of its league slate, NC State is challenging itself with a non-conference schedule that is one of the toughest in the nation. The average final 2021-22 NET ranking of the Wolfpack's non-conference opponents (91) is the highest in the ACC and is tied with Maryland for the national lead among Power Five squads. Highlighting the team's early-season games are road trips to a pair of preseason AP Top 10 teams in No. 4 Iowa and No. 6 UConn.
