Wolfpack women looking to win a sixth-straight regional title
The NC State cross country programs will participate in the 2022 NCAA Regionals on Friday, Nov. 11.
The meet will take place at E.P. Tom Sawyer Park in Louisville, KY. The top two teams and the first four finishers in the race not associated with those two teams will advance to the NCAA Championships, held Nov. 19 in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
The women's team will be going for a sixth-straight regional title.

The NC State women's team spent the entire regular season ranked No. 1 in the USTFCCCA Coaches Poll.
The Wolfpack men were ranked 15th in the final USTFCCCA Coaches Poll and were the No. 3 team in the Southeast Region.
LAST TIME OUT
The NC State women's team tied a school and ACC record by winning their seventh straight ACC championship.
The Wolfpack (34) finished four points ahead of the Irish (38).
NC State's Katelyn Tuohy and Kelsey Chmiel finished first and second to help the Pack earn a seventh straight ACC cross country title. NC State, the No. 1 team in the country, won its eighth overall title under head coach Laurie Henes.
NC State had four runners in the top 10 and six in the top 20.
Tuophy's time of 19:08.9 in the 6K was a new course record. Chmiel, who won it all last season, came in at 19:20. Samantha Bush was fifth at 19:45.7. Freshman Brooke Rauber (19:58.5) rounded out the Pack runners in the top 10.
Gionna Quarzo (16th), Nevada Mareno (19th) rounded out the top 10 for NC State. Tuohy, Chmiel, Bush, Rauber, Quarzo and Mareno each earned All-ACC honors.
In the men's race, the Wolfpack tallied 118 points for a fifth-place finish. Ian Shanklin placed sixth overall with a time of 23:12.7. Robinson Snider came in 14th with a time of 23:20.1 and Hannes Burger (23:23.7) was 19th. The trio was named to the All-ACC team.
